This unlocked BIOS is for the WatchGuard XTM 5 Series and is intended for homelab and repurposing scenarios where the original locked BIOS restricts hardware configuration and prevents proper SATA support.
It is most commonly used when converting the device from its original WatchGuard firmware into a more flexible firewall appliance running OPNsense or pfSense.
